Ferran Valdés Crespí studied Professional Training Higher grade in Measurement Systems and Automation also studied Industrial Tech. Engineering in Industrial Electronics at the Balearic Islands University (UIB).  His research interests are focused in embedded systems and communication protocols. His previous work experience includes among others, vehicle programmable ecus, vehicle wiring and schematics, plane simulators and avionics. 

Moreover, he has continually worked on his mechanical skills since 2006. This has involved rebuilding car engines, wiring cars and programming the Electronic Control Unit in charge of the engine. His final project at the university was the complete development of a wireless timing system for a car race, with its sensors and indicators (thus developing the concept, hardware and software, and implementing and testing it).

He’s always having personal projects on the go such as: building a guitar amplifier, a drone, a clock with vacuum valves or a kart metering system.
