Immaculada Sans studied Pedagogy but soon her work turned into coordination and organization. For the past 10 years she has been working in the Office of Research Services of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) (Oficina de Servei a la Recerca) and helps Fruitflynet partners from the UIB to be up to date with prosecces, documentation and EU indicators.

The OSR is a service where researchers can view and process all the matters relating applications for research projects and manage related projects granted. Another mission is to stimulate the participation of researchers in European research projects, national or regional, and give them the necessary support.
